Located: From Leverburgh, take the A859
for 24 miles and follow the signs for Tarbert (An Tairbeart) As you drop
down into Tarbert you wil see the harbour on the right. Turn right and
follow the signs for the ferry terminal, turning right again before going
into the one way system. From Stornoway direction, take the A859 down
through Lewis and onto Harris. Stay on this road as it will lead directly
into Tarbert, past the fire station and down towards the harbour turning.
Take a left and then a right into the ferry terminal.
Ample traffic marshalling area - recently relocated / hydraulically operated
linkspan / passenger gangway on main pier / shore-ticketing facilities /
terminal office with ticket sales, toilets, vending machines and waiting
room / harbour also has a new area along with breakwater.
