Located: When approaching from the north
or the south, carry on the A83 until you see the signs for 'Islay Ferry'.
You will see Kennacraig terminal on its little island and then the turning
for the causeway across to the terminal
Large vehicle marshalling area in front of the main berth / car park
adjacent to terminal building, situated on the far side of the island /
adjustable linkspan and passenger gangway at main berth / primitive fixed
ramp provides vehicle access on the second berth / terminal building
incorporating ticket office, waiting area, vending machines and public
toilets / bus stop at the front of the terminal building / the whole
terminal site is on an island, linked previously by causeway to the main
road
