Gaelic Name: Loch Alainn
 REMARKS:
Launched as Loch Aline, but the name was subsequently found to be in use already, hence the switch to the Gaelic version of the name. She was originally built for the new service from Fishnish to Lochaline, but technical problems sent her back to the Clyde and she was replaced with the redundant Loch Fyne
