The 1947 PS Waverley watches on as the 1974 MV Pioneer draws
away from Rothesay pier one summers day on a regular service run to Wemyss
Bay. The Waverly is the only remaining sea going paddle steamer left in

her modern replacement, the 1995 built MV Isle of Lewis. This

Lochmor, 1957 MV Glen Sannox and 1978 MV Claymore.
The 'Galloping Glen' is on the Craignure ferry to Mull, the Claymore is
loading for Barra and the western Isles and the Lochmor appears to be on a
